Overview:
CAPSI, a pioneering institution in Africa, is dedicated to fostering social change through the promotion of effective giving and corporate social responsibility. Kisima, an initiative born from CAPSI, serves as a platform to showcase and celebrate impactful fundraising narratives from across the African continent.
Project Description:
Conté Africa was entrusted with developing a comprehensive brand identity and digital presence for Kisima, CAPSI’s innovative African Giving Platform. Our mission was to create a visual language and user experience that would effectively communicate Kisima’s unique role in promoting African philanthropy.
Key Strategies:
- Brand Identity Development: We crafted a distinctive logo for Kisima that encapsulates the spirit of African giving, using design elements that resonate with the continent’s rich cultural heritage.
- Visual Storytelling: Our team developed a cohesive visual narrative for social media, designed to highlight inspiring fundraising stories and showcase the impact of African philanthropy.
- User Experience Design: We created a foundational UX framework for the Kisima website, focusing on intuitive navigation and engaging content presentation to effectively showcase fundraising stories and facilitate resource mobilisation.
- Cultural Sensitivity: Our approach emphasised the communal aspect of African giving, ensuring that the platform’s design and messaging reflected the continent’s collective approach to philanthropy.
- Digital Engagement Strategy: We developed a social media strategy that leverages platform-specific features to maximise engagement and spread awareness about African giving practices.
Through this project, Conté Africa demonstrated its ability to translate complex cultural concepts into compelling digital experiences. By blending traditional African values with modern design principles, we created a brand identity for Kisima that not only showcases the power of African philanthropy but also encourages greater participation in social investment across the continent.
